Apprenticeship start at General Atomics AeroTec Systems

The new apprenticeship year started last Monday, 2 September. We are delighted to welcome six new apprentices to General Atomics AeroTec Systems, who will be completing their training as aircraft mechanics specialising in maintenance and production engineering as well as aircraft electronics technicians.

Over the next 3.5 years, they will gain extensive insights into the production and maintenance of aircraft and get to know our Do228 in detail.

The training programmes are carried out on a dual basis, in the company and at vocational school. Depending on the training occupation, the first 1 - 2 years of training take place in the training workshops of our partner company, AERO-Bildungs GmbH, to learn the practical basics of production techniques and materials. The rest of the training period is spent at our company at Oberpfaffenhofen Special Airport, where trainees spend time in all areas and departments relevant to their training.

We are very pleased and proud to be able to offer young people an entry into the world of work as a company that provides apprenticeships.
